Introduction to the Types of surface treatment Processes for lithium Battery PacksThere are various types of surface treatment processes for lithium battery packs. Different types of processes are suitable for different scenarios and requirements. The following is an introduction to some common types of surface treatment processes for lithium battery packs: Powder electrostatic spraying process: Principle: The working principle is almost exactly the same as that of the general liquid coating electrostatic spraying method. The difference lies in that powder spraying is dispersed rather than atomized. It is a coating sprayed out by an electrostatic powder gun. While dispersing, it makes the powder particles carry a negative charge. The charged powder particles, under the influence of air flow (or centrifugal force and other forces) and electrostatic attraction, are coated onto the grounded aluminum shell of a power lithium battery, and then heated, melted and solidified to form a film. Features: Excellent corrosion resistance, and its resistance to acid, alkali and salt spray is far superior to that of oxidized colored profiles. Electrophoretic painting process Principle: A coating method that uses an external electric field to make the pigment and resin particles suspended in the electrophoresis solution migrate directionally and deposit on the substrate surface of one of the electrodes. Features: It has the characteristics of water solubility, non-toxicity, and easy automatic control. After the electrophoretic painting process, the surface of the aluminum shell of the power lithium battery has a soft luster and can resist the erosion of cement, mortar and acid rain. Plasma-enhanced electrochemical surface ceramicization process Principle: By using plasma to enhance electrochemical action, a ceramicized coating is formed on the surface of the battery pack. Feature: Although the quality is excellent, the cost is relatively high. The profiles produced by this process come in a variety of tones. Its most prominent feature is that it can be color-matched according to requirements. The surface of the profiles is colorful and has the best decorative effect. Frosted process Principle: A frosted effect is formed on the surface of the battery pack through physical or chemical methods. Features: The frosted surface aluminum profiles prevent the disadvantage of light interference caused by bright aluminum alloy profiles in architectural decoration under environmental and conditions. Its surface is as fine and soft as brocade, and is very popular in the market. However, the existing frosted materials must overcome the shortcomings of uneven surface sand particles and visible mold patterns. |
